After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, José Maria Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Botashow's supporters rose to their feet, but José Maria Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruy de Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute, Botashow's Erivaldo Cruz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Geraldo Secco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Tande in the 10th minute of play. Luisão Maranhense came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ruy de Moraes could save by the left post. 14 minutes into the match, Pitbulls United's goal looked a bit too open when Erivaldo Cruz came free, but Ruy de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Carlos Eduardo de Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Eduardo de Godoi hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Elano Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the last second Ruy de Moraes throw himself and got hold of the ball when Erivaldo Cruz in the 28thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 30 minutes into the match, Elano Valle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruy de Moraes. Pitbulls United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elano Valle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erivaldo Cruz in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruy de Moraes saved Pitbulls United from getting behind. Pitbulls United's Ruy de Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Pitbulls United from getting a goal against them. Víktor Aparecido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy de Moraes having to interfere. A collision led to Pitbulls United getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Joélson Messias hit a great ball. Erivaldo Cruzs short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Ruy de Moraes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 42 minutes into the match, Botashow's goal looked a bit too open when Virgílio Ceresso came free, but Geraldo Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match Carlos Eduardo de Godoi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruy de Moraes skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Pitbulls United defense, Elano Valle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruy de Moraes. The Pitbulls United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruy de Moraes should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 57th match minute, Botashow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Massa to maneuver through the defense. Ruy de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erivaldo Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 65 played minutes, Botashow's Carlos Eduardo de Godoi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruy de Moraes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Botashow reached it. In the 66th match minute, Botashow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. Ruy de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Maria Rocha in the 68th minute of the match. Víktor Aparecido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ruy de Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pitbulls United's goalkeeper Ruy de Moraes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75thth minute of the game Erivaldo Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pitbulls United's Ruy de Moraes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ruy de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Maria Rocha in the 76th minute of the match. Botashow's Elano Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Pitbulls United booed when Botashow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antônio Tepedino was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ruy de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Maria Rocha in the 86th minute of the match. Elano Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
