The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Simão got free with Geraldo Secco in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Botashow's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gildo Teixeira was slow to take the kick. During this time Crazy FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Crazy FC's corner Gildo Teixeira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Geraldo Secco quite easily take care of the ball. Crazy FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Crazy FC's Magno Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Maria Rocha in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Víktor Aparecido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Botashow's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crazy FC the free kick.
