Leonardo Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Olívio Sergipano made a huge save. Warren Metzger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Olívio Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredão Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgílio Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 42 minutes into the game, PraçaUnited's Virgílio Brodel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olívio Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Warren Metzger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Warren Metzger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olívio Sergipano was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Malvadão AC fans cheered their team off the field, for while PraçaUnited had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
