After some careless play in the Malvadão AC defense, Délio Vieira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredão Arruda. The Malvadão AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredão Arruda should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válter Moura in the 23rd minute of play forced Malvadão AC's goalkeeper Alfredão Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredão Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válter Moura in the 24th minute of the match. If Válter Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mamoes EC booed when Malvadão AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Malvadão AC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mamoes EC were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Válter Moura made the kick off in the second half. Délio Vieira struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Alfredão Arruda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mamoes EC. Alfredão Arruda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin Toledo went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Leonardo Lima sped through Mamoes EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ramón Reis. After a defensive mix-up in Mamoes EC's zone, Leonardo Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramón Reis came out of the goal and Leonardo Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramón Reis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Warren Metzger's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After 75 played minutes Mamoes EC got a freekick which was hit by Otávio Arósio. Adriano Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Délio Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Alfredão Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Malvadão AC got a freekick which was hit by Warren Metzger. João Augusto Braga scored 3-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramón Reis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ramón Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Lima in the 90th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Leonardo Lima made a precise shot to the right of Ramón Reis. Mamoes EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Malvadão AC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
