Joélson Medeiros came out of the goal and Edinho Saraiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joélson Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Embirizal SS's Joélson Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Leão in the 18th minute of play. Rogério Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joélson Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberto Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Rui Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Umberto Leão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Umberto Leão who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Joélson Medeiros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 67 minutes into the match, Moc Hell FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fernando Faria came free, but Andrézinho de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Umberto Leão had several of the Embirizal SS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 72 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Joélson Medeiros as he didn't even see the shot coming. Embirizal SS's Luiz Fernando Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Edinho Saraiva came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Moc Hell FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edinho Saraiva couldn't finish the play. Embirizal SS's Joélson Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Embirizal SS from getting a goal against them. 89 minutes into the match, Moc Hell FC's Rui Soares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joélson Medeiros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Kiko de Carvalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Embirizal SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. With a little luck, Embirizal SS's Joélson Medeiros got control of the ball when Umberto Leão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Moc Hell FC played a much better game than Embirizal SS and deserved their victory. The Embirizal SS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
