Spectators: 6874 (Terracing: 5200, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 10) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luiz Fernando Faria took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Zeus Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Enéas da Silveira. Luiz Fernando Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Arí Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kiko de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Embirizal SS's Joélson Medeiros got control of the ball when Leonel Teixeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Zeus Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Domingues to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the game, Luiz Fernando Faria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Arí Abreu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luiz Fernando Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Arí Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Chiquinho Travassos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joélson Medeiros, 1-1. Joélson Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquinho Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Donato Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arí Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko de Carvalho in the 38th minute of the match. Embirizal SS's Joélson Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Embirizal SS from getting a goal against them. Chiquinho Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonel Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joélson Medeiros having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Embirizal SS's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquinho Travassos came free, but Joélson Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Chiquinho Travassos made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Leonel Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Leonel Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chiquinho Travassos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joélson Medeiros having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Zeus Esporte Clube's zone, Kiko de Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arí Abreu came out of the goal and Kiko de Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chiquinho Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Joélson Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kiko de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Abreu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Zeus Esporte Clube's Mauro Domingues got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Joélson Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Travassos in the 89th minute of play. Joélson Medeiros came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Zeus Esporte Clube's Chiquinho Travassos. But to his dismay, Chiquinho Travassos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Enéas da Silveira struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Joélson Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zeus Esporte Clube. Zeus Esporte Clube's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
