Adrianinho Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Lauro Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Jacarepaguá AC's Lauro Dionísio got control of the ball when Adrianinho Neto tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Bonninal's Ronaldo Nazario slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lauro Dionísio. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. In the 47th minute, Adrianinho Neto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bonninal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remo Quirino to strike the kick off in the second half. Lauro Dionísio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo Hoffmann in the 58th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Jacarepaguá AC got a freekick which was hit by Dorival de Alcântara. Bonninal's Cao Ling Yi was substituted for Arif Gaffar Başkara. The supporters of Bonninal booed when Jacarepaguá AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorival de Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Jacarepaguá AC's goal looked a bit too open when Cao Ling Yi came free, but Lauro Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lauro Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Nazario in the 68th minute of the match. Edvaldo Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Bonninal's Narciso Loureiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Jacarepaguá AC. Cao Ling Yi kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Nazario notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Jacarepaguá AC's Lauro Dionísio. Lauro Dionísio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute, Edvaldo Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lauro Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reginaldo Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bonninal had played much better football throughout.
