BrotherHood United's Nelsinho Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Zeus Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Enéas da Silveira hit a great ball. Nelsinho Zanette did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Arí Abreu 10 minutes into the match. Leonel Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonel Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ivo Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronaldão Gonçalves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Arí Abreu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nelsinho Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Abreu having to interfere. BrotherHood United's Ivo Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiquinho Travassos in the 23rd minute of play. Ronaldão Gonçalves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arí Abreu having to make a save. 27 minutes into the match, Zeus Esporte Clube's Chiquinho Travassos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivo Reis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leonel Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ivo Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abelardo Brito during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nelsinho Zanette stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronaldão Gonçalves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arí Abreu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Leonel Teixeira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ivo Reis firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Chiquinho Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Ronaldão Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nelsinho Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th minute, Nelsinho Zanette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75thth minute of the game Ronaldão Gonçalves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zeus Esporte Clube's Arí Abreu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zeus Esporte Clube's Arí Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelsinho Zanette in the 85th minute of play. Ronaldão Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BrotherHood United had won after a very even match.
