The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 8 played minutes ★Real Madruga FC★ got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Bittencourt. Reinado AD's Sílvio Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Bittencourt in the 12th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amauri Zonta got free with Ramiro Toledo in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amauri Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ramiro Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ★Real Madruga FC★'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ronaldinho Loureiro 17 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Amauri Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Toledo having to interfere. If Amauri Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldinho Loureiro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 42 minutes into the match, Reinado AD's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Bittencourt came free, but Sílvio Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Ronaldinho Loureiro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

The wind increased when Dinei Reis made the kick off in the second half. Cristiano Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Ramiro Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrézinho Meirelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Téo Porto's late challenge caught a Reinado AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Téo Porto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Reinado AD booed when ★Real Madruga FC★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Téo Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Amauri Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
