The supporters of A.A.Francana booed when Perus AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reginaldo França didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th match minute, A.A.Francana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrão Secco to maneuver through the defense. Eliseu Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavinho Cardozo having to interfere. A.A.Francana's Cléber Paes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save A.A.Francana from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anísio Rodrigues in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cléber Paes saved A.A.Francana from getting behind. The Perus AD fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Perus AD's Anísio Rodrigues looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Perus AD's Anísio Rodrigues slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cléber Paes. That made the score 2-0 after 35 minutes of play. Eliseu Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Flavinho Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anísio Rodrigues during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anísio Rodrigues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60thth minute of the game Anísio Rodrigues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A.Francana's Cléber Paes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Betinho Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Michel Cordeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perus AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.A.Francana the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Perus AD fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! Flavinho Cardozo went to the wrong direction when Diogo Rodrigues was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Cléber Paes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reginaldo França's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. When Pedro Paulo Correia fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.A.Francana's protests and gave Pedro Paulo Correia a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reginaldo França in the 83rd minute of play forced A.A.Francana's goalkeeper Cléber Paes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reginaldo França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléber Paes having to interfere. Anísio Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléber Paes having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Duarte Galvão in the 96th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When the referee ended the match the Perus AD players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
