Perus AD's Flavinho Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Sanches in the 3rd minute of play. Reginaldo França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Pedro Paraíba having to interfere. A collision led to Perus AD getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Michel Cordeiro hit a great ball. The Perus AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Narciso Sanches made a kick off. Murilo Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Flavinho Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Narciso Sanches took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Flavinho Cardozo to make any attempt to save it. Reginaldo França struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. João Pedro Paraíba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perus AD. After 62 minutes, Reginaldo França made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Juventus's João Pedro Paraíba tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. João Pedro Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reginaldo França in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, Perus AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. If Narciso Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
