After having played for 15 minutes, Anísio Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perus AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anísio Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Reginaldo França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Perus AD's Flavinho Cardozo got control of the ball when Agnaldo Pitta tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 27 minutes, Bruninho Mello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Delwius F.C. and the Perus AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Delwius F.C.'s Pedro Paulo de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo França in the 29th minute of play. Anísio Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Pedro Paulo de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Anísio Rodrigues sped through Delwius F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Paulo de Amorim. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 57th minute, Anísio Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Paulo de Amorim made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Reginaldo França sent off a good shot on target. When Reginaldo França came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Perus AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reginaldo França couldn't finish the play. If Anísio Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Perus AD's zone, Agnaldo Pitta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavinho Cardozo came out of the goal and Agnaldo Pitta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80thth minute of the game Anísio Rodrigues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Delwius F.C.'s Pedro Paulo de Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Reginaldo França scored 0-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Paulo de Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Perus AD getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Murilo Vieira hit a great ball. Agnaldo Pitta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
