Augusto Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Augusto Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Douglas Tepedino was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Cacá Godoi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arlindo Cavalcante. That made the score 1-2 in the 62 minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Claudinei Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmeiras Dragon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinei Quintal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Palmeiras Dragon's Augusto Toledo in 77 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Douglas Tepedino guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Augusto Toledo might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Douglas Tepedino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Toledo ran back to his position shaking his head. Augusto Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Tepedino having to interfere. União Agrícola Barbarense succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Palmeiras Dragon had controlled the match.
