The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Murilo Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in OLIVA's zone, Erasmo Valadares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilson Paes came out of the goal and Erasmo Valadares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Murilo Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 played minutes OLIVA got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Alves. After 16 played minutes, Vora's Rodriguinho de Moraes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gilson Paes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vora reached it. In the 22nd minute Murilo Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27thth minute of the game Murilo Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vora's Rodrigo Marinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Vora's Franklin Bittencourt got a free kick in the 28th minute. A collision led to Vora getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Franklin Bittencourt hit a great ball. If Murilo Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st match minute, OLIVA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauã Macedo to maneuver through the defense. In the last second Gilson Paes throw himself and got hold of the ball when Erasmo Valadares in the 43rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Murilo Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Chaves might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Marinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artur Chaves ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Murilo Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. When Murilo Moura came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the OLIVA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murilo Moura couldn't finish the play. Rodrigo Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murilo Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Gilson Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Vora's Rodrigo Marinho got control of the ball when Artur Chaves tried to sneak it across the goal line. OLIVA's Gilson Paes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Valadares in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Vora's Erasmo Valadares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilson Paes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 87 played minutes Murilo Moura rounded Vora's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. If Murilo Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When OLIVA's Murilo Moura in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vora's goalie prevented a goal.
