Erasmo Valadares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paulinho Quadros came out and tried to block the shot, but Erasmo Valadares slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Franklin Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. RS Football Club's Paulinho Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Valadares in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Vora's Christian Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulinho Quadros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 29 played minutes RS Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Carlinhos da Silva. After recieving a nice pass, Vora's Franklin Bittencourt tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Aníbal Mota struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Rodrigo Marinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RS Football Club. In the 39th play minute Christian Sousa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Paulinho Quadros. 2-0. Erasmo Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho Quadros having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Evaristo Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute Erasmo Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulinho Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulinho Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Sousa in the 77th minute of the match. Erasmo Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paulinho Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 86 minutes, Erasmo Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Valadares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulinho Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Sousa in the 97th minute of play. Vora's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
