Wesley Damião showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Christian Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Wesley Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felippe Coelho to strike the kick off in the second half. Gino de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Christian Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Evaristo Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vora's supporters rose to their feet, but Evaristo Viana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wesley Damião breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gino de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Felippe Coelho was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. Felippe Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. If Christian Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wesley Damião having to make a save. If Erasmo Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vora walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
