Paulinho Quadros came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Greenpig's José Pedro Costa. But to his dismay, José Pedro Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that José Pedro Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulinho Quadros was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, RS Football Club's Aníbal Mota got a free kick in the 19th minute. 30 minutes into the match, RS Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Falcão came free, but Paulinho Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Pedro Costa scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulinho Quadros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The RS Football Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Greenpig were winning 0-2.

Paulinho Quadros was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Pedro Costa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 73 minute of play.
