Campinense F Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinei Dante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celsinho Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celsinho Barros came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Campinense F Clube's Conrado Reis. But to his dismay, Conrado Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Elói Vale hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Shrewsbury Town's Luisinho Mota sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinho Seco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Shrewsbury Town's Celsinho Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elói Vale in the 11th minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Campinense F Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Luisinho Mota came free, but Claudinho Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Shrewsbury Town's goal looked a bit too open when Elói Vale came free, but Celsinho Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Luiz Coelho during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Campinense F Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Egídio Braga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 66thth minute of the game Luisinho Mota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campinense F Clube's Claudinho Seco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rony Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Celsinho Barros made a huge save. Egídio Braga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Claudinho Seco. Campinense F Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Rony Almeida recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Celsinho Barros. Rony Almeida showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. With an all-out effort, Campinense F Clube's Celsinho Barros threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Conrado Reis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Shrewsbury Town's Celsinho Barros got control of the ball when Rony Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 86 played minutes Shrewsbury Town got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Rezende. 89 minutes into the match, Rony Almeida had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celsinho Barros.
