Beco Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ultimate Futebol Clube the free kick. Sebastião Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Bittencourt in the 44th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Vicente Bittencourt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ultimate Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olívio de Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vicente Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Faria having to interfere. After having played for 56 minutes, Jean Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sebastião Faria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Vicente Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sebastião Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Carlos Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle sounded Ultimate Futebol Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Beco Futebol Clube.
