Rui Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duda Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The supporters of FC Schunck booed when GreenBlack FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Durval Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Ferraz having to interfere. Durval Godoi came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rui Ferraz could save by the left post. Clemente Souto's late challenge caught a GreenBlack FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. FC Schunck's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kauan Ceresso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. GreenBlack FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Schunck for a fine match.
