With a little luck, Jundiahy Football Club's Ulisses Tande got control of the ball when Zézinho Magalhães tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benigno Jobo made a kick off. After 73 played minutes BAR F.C got a freekick which was hit by Zé Pedro Bezerra. Benigno Jobo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 76th match minute, BAR F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Capixaba to maneuver through the defense.
