Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leonel Soeiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Libertines's Guto Meirelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Soeiro in the 5th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Soeiro in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guto Meirelles saved Libertines from getting behind. When Doni Soeiro fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beco EC's protests and gave Doni Soeiro a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Beco EC's Baltazar Toscano got control of the ball when Telmo Catarinense tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Cipriano Eger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beco EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Libertines the free kick. A collision led to Beco EC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Cipriano Eger hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Cipriano Eger notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Libertines's Guto Meirelles. Guto Meirelles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Beco EC's Betão Quirino got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guto Meirelles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Soeiro's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Libertines's Guto Meirelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Soeiro in the 36th minute of play. If Telmo Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edu Aguiar to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Leonel Soeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 1-3 became the score in the 63rd minute when Betão Quirino elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 66th minute of the match, Cipriano Eger tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guto Meirelles saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Raúl Ramos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Guto Meirelles skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 72 minutes, Leonel Soeiro made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Libertines's Guto Meirelles tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Edu Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Libertines's supporters rose to their feet, but Edu Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltazar Toscano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guto Meirelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 93rd minute, one of Libertines:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Libertines. When the match had been going on for 96 minutes, Beco EC's Rafael Gaspar got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Guto Meirelles. Beco EC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
