Hílton Cearense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronaldão Barreto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hílton Cearense's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Concetto Trombetta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ronaldão Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Concetto Trombetta scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronaldão Barreto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Marrenchenko FC booed when BAR F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reginaldo de Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hílton Cearense hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. BAR F.C's Ronaldão Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Trombetta in the 38th minute of play. Reynaldo Capixaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Benjamim Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hílton Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldão Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Trombetta in the 45th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Reynaldo Capixaba made the kick off in the second half. Diamantino Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diamantino Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to BAR F.C getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Hílton Cearense really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Délio Tinoco during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Marrenchenko FC's Délio Tinoco got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 72nd minute Zézinho Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of BAR F.C booed when Marrenchenko FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Marrenchenko FC's Agostinho Cunha seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Agostinho Cunha the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Marrenchenko FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Agostinho Cunha had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Reynaldo Capixaba hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Hílton Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ronaldão Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Hílton Cearense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hílton Cearense in the 84th minute of play forced BAR F.C's goalkeeper Ronaldão Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marrenchenko FC's Benjamim Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Capixaba in the 87th minute of play. Benjamim Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Capixaba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, BAR F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Hílton Cearense came free, but Ronaldão Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamim Terra came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by BAR F.C's Reynaldo Capixaba. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Capixaba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The BAR F.C support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
