If Enéas Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ricardinho Santana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcus Paranaense. That made the score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. Marcus Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Santana in the 86th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Nilton Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Goliath National Bank's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
