When Luan Braga came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Mata Linda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luan Braga couldn't finish the play. Rubens Gonçalves charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rubens Gonçalves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute of the match Olavo Figueiredo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelinho Gaúcho skillfully saved the ball. Davi Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Davi Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes, Josué Tinoco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético Torino and the Mata Linda players grew even worse after the yellow card. 28 minutes into the game, Cauan Vieira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Rubens Gonçalves got his second yellow card in the match during the 41st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Rubens Gonçalves hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 46th match minute, Mata Linda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Moreno to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Mesquita to make the kick off. When Cauan Vieira fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mata Linda's protests and gave Cauan Vieira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd match minute, Mata Linda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauan Vieira to maneuver through the defense. Samuca Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 58th minute, Bruno Zanette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Luan Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 62 in the game by Emanuel Mesquita from a close distance when the talented Davi Tinoco managed to make a qualified save. Mata Linda's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as Emanuel Mesquita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Davi Tinoco. That made the score 2-1 in the 65 minute of play. A collision led to Mata Linda getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Cauan Vieira hit a great ball. In the 70th minute of the game, Téo Branco landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Mesquita during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Atlético Torino getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Emanuel Mesquita hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Emanuel Mesquita notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Mata Linda's Davi Tinoco. Davi Tinoco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Davi Tinoco came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Torino's Emanuel Mesquita. But to his dismay, Emanuel Mesquita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 84 minutes into the match, Mata Linda's goalkeeper Davi Tinoco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Mesquita. After 88 minutes of play, Atlético Torino's Emanuel Mesquita made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Davi Tinoco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedrão Paulista hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Emanuel Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Torino's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Mesquita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davi Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Mata Linda fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atlético Torino were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
