In the 12th minute, Rodrigo Gaúcho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Romário Rezende. The goal made the score 1-0. Rodrigo Gaúcho succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. In the 24th minute of the match, Luizão Abreu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Romário Rezende saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gigante da Colina's Romário Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Gaúcho in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute Rodrigo Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romário Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haroldo Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Carlos Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romário Rezende having to interfere. When Rodrigo Gaúcho came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the SpVgg Albrecht fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Gaúcho couldn't finish the play. Romário Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Gaúcho in the 90th minute of play. Ricardo Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 96 played minutes Gigante da Colina got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Bertassi. Luizão Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Romário Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
