Allan Paranaense started the match with the kick off. After having played for 15 minutes, Augusto Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caricaca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Varela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reginaldo Paraense's late challenge caught a Caricaca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reginaldo Paraense helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes Mostarda EC got a freekick which was hit by Reginaldo Paraense. Paulo Renato de Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano de Castro during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Caricaca got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano de Castro. Andreas Käller might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateus Dantas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andreas Käller ran back to his position shaking his head. Mateus Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Käller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rdth minute of the game Andreas Käller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mostarda EC's Mateus Dantas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Käller in the 37th minute of play forced Mostarda EC's goalkeeper Mateus Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Wágner Lago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caricaca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Andreas Käller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateus Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Cristiano de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caricaca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano de Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mostarda EC's zone, Andreas Käller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateus Dantas came out of the goal and Andreas Käller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Mostarda EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Caricaca were winning 0-2.

The supporters of Mostarda EC booed when Caricaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Käller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andreas Käller's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Mateus Dantas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 56 minutes of play, Mostarda EC's Mazinho Faria made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Renato de Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 61st match minute, Caricaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano de Castro to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute of the match Duda de Amorim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Renato de Brito showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 67 played minutes Mostarda EC got a freekick which was hit by Allan Paranaense. Paulo Renato de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazinho Faria in the 73rd minute of the match. Caricaca's Paulo Renato de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazinho Faria in the 77th minute of play. Andreas Käller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Mateus Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mostarda EC's Mateus Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Käller in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match, Andreas Käller got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mateus Dantas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 94 minutes, Oséas Jacinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mostarda EC and the Caricaca players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fred Breckenfeld took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mateus Dantas. Mostarda EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Caricaca's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
