Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luan Braga got the match started through his kick off. Pote's Waldemar Ferraz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Davi Tinoco but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Mata Linda's zone, Luiz Guilherme Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davi Tinoco came out of the goal and Luiz Guilherme Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute, Giovanni Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mata Linda's Davi Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Queirós in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Zé Augusto Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pote's Wanderson Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wanderson Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giovanni Paraense in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davi Tinoco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Guilherme Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Davi Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Guilherme Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Davi Tinoco made a huge save. Faustão Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauan Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute of the match Sílvio Brodel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faustão Mesquita skillfully saved the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Augusto Silva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mata Linda's Davi Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Augusto Silva in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pote's Zé Augusto Silva got a free kick in the 54th minute. Pedrão Paulista's late challenge caught a Pote's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedrão Paulista helped the player get up and apologised. Pedrão Paulista hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Mata Linda's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Augusto Silva came free, but Davi Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Guilherme Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Wanderson Queirós made a precise shot to the right of Davi Tinoco. Mata Linda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 74th minute Zé Augusto Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Zé Augusto Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Davi Tinoco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luiz Guilherme Rocha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Davi Tinoco having to make a save. Zé Augusto Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Guilherme Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Tinoco having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Pote's Giovanni Paraense seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Giovanni Paraense the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pote protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Giovanni Paraense had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Pote:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mata Linda:s goal.
