Spectators: 7234 (Terracing: 5427, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) After having played for 5 minutes, Juarês Cerezo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saldanha fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juarês Cerezo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Gustavo Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th match minute, Jaboticabal Atlético 007 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrézinho Esteves to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Saldanha fc's Juarês Cerezo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rui Sarmento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Jaboticabal Atlético 007's Hortêncio da Silva got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Hortêncio da Silva hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juarês Cerezo in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Sarmento saved Jaboticabal Atlético 007 from getting behind. In the 31st minute, Jorginho Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaboticabal Atlético 007's Raúl Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rui Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Saldanha fc's zone, Vinícius de Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmo Sousa came out of the goal and Vinícius de Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raúl Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalmo Sousa made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Raúl Paiva sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Vinícius de Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmo Sousa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Saldanha fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toninho Vianna to maneuver through the defense. Raúl Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Dalmo Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Juarês Cerezo came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Saldanha fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juarês Cerezo couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Raúl Paiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dalmo Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinícius de Sousa in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmo Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Saldanha fc's Dalmo Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Paiva in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Jaboticabal Atlético 007 booed when Saldanha fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorginho Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saldanha fc's goalkeeper Dalmo Sousa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Sarmento in the 84th minute of play forced Saldanha fc's goalkeeper Dalmo Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinícius de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Gustavo Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Rui Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juarês Cerezo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Sarmento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jaboticabal Atlético 007 had won after a very even match.
