Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) Saldanha fc's Luís Gustavo Gerber started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Caripi AD's 沈德誉 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Caripi AD from getting a goal against them. Dalmo Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juarês Cerezo struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. 沈德誉 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saldanha fc. After 9 played minutes Saldanha fc got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Ramalho. When Fabiano Guerra came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Caripi AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabiano Guerra couldn't finish the play. After having played for 17 minutes, Sílvio Capixaba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caripi AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sílvio Capixaba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorginho Goiano's late challenge caught a Caripi AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorginho Goiano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Caripi AD booed when Saldanha fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorginho Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 minutes of play Saldanha fc's Jorginho Goiano was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jorginho Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Sílvio Capixaba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juarês Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. 沈德誉 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmo Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caripi AD's goalkeeper 沈德誉, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luís Gustavo Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Fabiano Guerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Saldanha fc's Marcus Vander got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Sílvio Capixaba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dalmo Sousa having to make a save. After 47 played minutes Saldanha fc got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Vianna. After some careless play in the Saldanha fc defense, Fabiano Guerra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dalmo Sousa. The Saldanha fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dalmo Sousa should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sílvio Capixaba to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Toninho Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabiano Guerra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Dalmo Sousa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dalmo Sousa made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Fabiano Guerra sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute Juarês Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 沈德誉 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 沈德誉 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juarês Cerezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldo Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Fabiano Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Caripi AD players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
