If Cléber Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Pedro Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos da Silveira having to interfere. Carlinhos da Silveira was a little too slow when Doriva Brasil got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 9 played minutes Sport Club Goldenbats got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Vianna. Sport Club Goldenbats's Carlinhos da Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Club Goldenbats from getting a goal against them. Pedro Paulo Ortiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SCCPHadez's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Doriva Brasil in the 33rd minute. The long shot by Walmir Severo in the 34th minute really tested Carlinhos da Silveira's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doriva Brasil made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Pedro Paulo Ortiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlinhos da Silveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. João Pedro Alves scored 3-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlinhos da Silveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. João Pedro Alves might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlinhos da Silveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Pedro Alves ran back to his position shaking his head. 66 minutes into the match, Flávio de Toledo notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of SCCPHadez's Hugo Trigo. Hugo Trigo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If João Pedro Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hílton de Toledo during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th minute, Hílton de Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, SCCPHadez's Walmir Severo got a free kick in the 88th minute. Flávio de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Trigo having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sport Club Goldenbats players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SCCPHadez.
