In the 3rd match minute, Mogi Mirim EC - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reginaldo Gerber to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Gustavo Gerber in the 4th minute of play forced Mogi Mirim EC - FDFDF's goalkeeper Paulinho Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Dalmo Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonçalo Tavares's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Dalmo Sousa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Juarês Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Paulinho Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Sousa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mogi Mirim EC - FDFDF's Reginaldo Gerber got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Saldanha fc were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Mogi Mirim EC - FDFDF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mathias Ramalho took the corner. Saldanha fc's Mathias Ramalho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paulinho Costa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jaime Amorim took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dalmo Sousa. Dalmo Sousa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Luís Gustavo Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho Costa having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Juarês Cerezo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saldanha fc's Dalmo Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Amorim in the 38th minute of play. Gonçalo Tavares might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dalmo Sousa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gonçalo Tavares ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toninho Vianna during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mogi Mirim EC - FDFDF booed when Saldanha fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toninho Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fiori Lara, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Saldanha fc's zone, Gonçalo Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmo Sousa came out of the goal and Gonçalo Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Mogi Mirim EC - FDFDF's Gonçalo Tavares got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Gustavo Gerber to strike the kick off in the second half. If Jaime Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Tavares in the 58th minute of play forced Saldanha fc's goalkeeper Dalmo Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jaime Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Jaime Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mogi Mirim EC - FDFDF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmo Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonçalo Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Dalmo Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mogi Mirim EC - FDFDF's Paulinho Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Mogi Mirim EC - FDFDF from getting a goal against them. Jaime Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Dalmo Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Munhoz kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match Fiori Lara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dalmo Sousa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Jaime Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Mogi Mirim EC - FDFDF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Amorim couldn't finish the play. During the 86th minute of the match Reginaldo Gerber completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Reginaldo Gerber a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Mogi Mirim EC - FDFDF's Reginaldo Gerber got a free kick in the 86th minute. Dalmo Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubinho Madureira in the 92nd minute of the match. Dalmo Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Dalmo Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Amorim in the 97th minute of play forced Saldanha fc's goalkeeper Dalmo Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Mogi Mirim EC - FDFDF were the better team. Mogi Mirim EC - FDFDF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
