Doriva Donatello charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doriva Donatello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Angicalinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Donatello to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Caripi AD's goalkeeper 沈德誉 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edu Galvão. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Sílvio Capixaba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caripi AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Capixaba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Durvalino de Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute, Fabiano Guerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabiano Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute of the match Aníbal Amaral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 沈德誉 skillfully saved the ball. In the 48th match minute, Caripi AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazinho Matorin to maneuver through the defense. Edu Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 沈德誉 having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Nunes to make the kick off. Osvaldo Dracena hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Edu Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. 沈德誉 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 沈德誉 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edu Galvão went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Fabiano Guerra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Durvalino de Sena when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edu Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 沈德誉 having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Galvão in the 90th minute of play forced Caripi AD's goalkeeper 沈德誉 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fernando Nunes, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 92 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The 沈德誉 was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Sílvio Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renatinho Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Caripi AD defense, Fernando Nunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 沈德誉. The Caripi AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 沈德誉 should have stopped the shot. Angicalinho's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
