The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. SCCPHadez's Hugo Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Nunes in the 5th minute of play. After 15 minutes of play, Angicalinho's Edu Galvão made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Trigo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hugo Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Nunes in the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SCCPHadez's Walmir Severo got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renatinho Palmeira in the 30th minute of play forced SCCPHadez's goalkeeper Hugo Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd match minute, SCCPHadez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Brasil to maneuver through the defense. After 35 minutes, Fernando Nunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Angicalinho and the SCCPHadez players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Angicalinho's Fernando Nunes got a free kick in the 35th minute. A collision led to SCCPHadez getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jairo Santos hit a great ball. Hugo Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Amaral in the 39th minute of the match. The SCCPHadez players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Angicalinho were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doriva Brasil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, João Pedro Alves notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Angicalinho's Durvalino de Sena. Durvalino de Sena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Durvalino de Sena came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by SCCPHadez's João Pedro Alves. But to his dismay, João Pedro Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Edu Galvão came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hugo Trigo could save by the left post. 68 minutes into the match, SCCPHadez's goalkeeper Hugo Trigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edu Galvão. In the 70th minute Renatinho Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emílio Neiva during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of SCCPHadez:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Angicalinho:s goal. In the 78th minute, Fernando Nunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Angicalinho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. SCCPHadez's Pedro Paulo Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 90 minutes, João Pedro Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SCCPHadez's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Pedro Alves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute of the match, Fernando Nunes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hugo Trigo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Doriva Donatello's late challenge caught a SCCPHadez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doriva Donatello helped the player get up and apologised.
