Reginaldo Maia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Arthur Ferreira made a huge save. Reginaldo Maia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Arthur Ferreira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durval de Sena in the 34th minute of play forced LOD FC's goalkeeper Arthur Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júlio Vidal took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reynaldo Neto. Reynaldo Neto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Edgar Amaral's late challenge caught a Piche's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in LOD FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! After 47 minutes LOD FC's goalkeeper Arthur Ferreira managed, with a little bit of luck, save Armandinho Araújo's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. In the 47th minute, Armandinho Araújo made a precise shot to the right of Arthur Ferreira. LOD FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Fernando Paulista to strike the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to LOD FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Túlio Siqueira hit a great ball. Reginaldo Maia spun around in front of the goal 87 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of LOD FC's goal. Piche walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
