Erasmo Abreu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hermínio Vander. Zuba F. C.'s Erik Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Marinho in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match, Vágner Peixoto sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Erasmo Abreu showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Zuba F. C.'s corner Hermínio Vander fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erasmo Abreu quite easily take care of the ball. TZARAs FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Romeu Linhares scored to the left of an out of position Erasmo Abreu, making the score, 1-1. 37 minutes into the game, TZARAs FC's Natanael Corrêa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Falcão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Romeu Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Yuri Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Zuba F. C. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Celsinho Costa hit a great ball. Erik Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erik Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natanael Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 81st minute there was a penalty for TZARAs FC. Deivid Simão stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Erik Falcão. 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natanael Corrêa got free with Erik Falcão in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute, Romeu Linhares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zuba F. C.'s Erik Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Goiano in the 98th minute of play.
