Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gil Teixeira hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Salobro's Tales Cordeiro tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 30 minutes, Ronaldinho Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arary SS's Felippe Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Meireles in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Erik Alvarenga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erik Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Felippe Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erik Alvarenga was the one to do the kick off. Erik Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Alvarenga struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Felippe Macedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ronaldinho Cavalcante was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Salobro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 68th minute Erik Alvarenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felippe Macedo having to interfere. Ronaldinho Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Erik Alvarenga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ronaldinho Cavalcante struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Felippe Macedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salobro. Ronaldinho Cavalcante's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Felippe Macedo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Arary SS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Erik Alvarenga 94 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2.
