Spectators: 5500 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1450, VIP seats: 50) Cícero Veloso started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Erivaldo Arantes made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Cícero Veloso sent off a good shot on target. Erivaldo Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Impeller FC's Erivaldo Arantes got control of the ball when Cícero Veloso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erivaldo Arantes was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Cícero Veloso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cícero Veloso really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Erivaldo Arantes made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Cícero Veloso sent off a good shot on target. Raimundo Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséias Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th play minute Cícero Veloso came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Erivaldo Arantes. 3-0. Teodoro Paulista's late challenge caught a Rueiros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Paulista helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Impeller FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Paulista. Cícero Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erivaldo Arantes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cícero Veloso went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Yuri Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Erivaldo Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oséias Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rueiros's Raimundo Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcinho Jacinto in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

57 minutes into the match, Impeller FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Baptista came free, but Erivaldo Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oséias Aguiar got free with Raimundo Almeida in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erivaldo Arantes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cícero Veloso's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Cícero Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erivaldo Arantes having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cícero Veloso in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erivaldo Arantes saved Impeller FC from getting behind. Cláudio Dionísio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erivaldo Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Baptista in the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Impeller FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero Veloso came free, but Erivaldo Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Impeller FC defense, Cícero Veloso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erivaldo Arantes. The Impeller FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erivaldo Arantes should have stopped the shot. Erivaldo Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cícero Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute Marcinho Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Rueiros were the better team. Rueiros's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
