In the 36thth minute of the game Esra Adolfsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Timão Metal FC's Mané Prata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Huw Isham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mané Prata. Timão Metal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Huw Isham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. 43 minutes into the match, Timão Metal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe de Andrade came free, but Mané Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mané Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esra Adolfsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when José Carlos Abraão made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Barrigudos Futebol Club booed when Timão Metal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe de Andrade was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 51st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mané Prata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esra Adolfsson in the 57th minute. Mané Prata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe de Andrade in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mané Prata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the game, Franklin Moreno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrigudos Futebol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Timão Metal FC the free kick. A collision led to Barrigudos Futebol Club getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Franklin Moreno hit a great ball. Mané Prata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esra Adolfsson in the 77th minute. Guilherme Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Esra Adolfsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. The Timão Metal FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Barrigudos Futebol Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
