Hollywood Esporte Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basílio da Mata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Anselmo Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiori Arósio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Passinhos's Cléberson Vianna got a free kick in the 19th minute. Cipriano Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Fiori Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cipriano Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Hollywood Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Mendes couldn't finish the play. After 26 played minutes Hollywood Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Alberto de Lara. Erivaldo Rossi hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Fiori Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Teles in the 35th minute of play. When Cipriano Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Hollywood Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Mendes couldn't finish the play. Anselmo Teles took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fiori Arósio. Fiori Arósio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cipriano Mendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 45 played minutes Hollywood Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Breno Meira.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Basílio da Mata stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Anselmo Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caio Toledo in the 54th minute of play forced Passinhos's goalkeeper Fiori Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Ruy Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Túlio Mendes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Teles in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fiori Arósio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Hollywood Esporte Clube booed when Passinhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruy Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Anselmo Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caio Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Passinhos's Fiori Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Teles in the 80th minute of play. Dieguinho Paraíba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiori Arósio having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Hollywood Esporte Clube's Anselmo Teles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fiori Arósio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Cipriano Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Passinhos's Fiori Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Teles in the 91st minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hollywood Esporte Clube had played much better football throughout.
