If Doriva Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válter Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Cejam FC were furious when Manuel Neiva was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Wiliam Prata showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Olavo Garcia's late challenge caught a DEUTSCHBR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olavo Garcia helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cejam FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Téo Cardozo hit a great ball. Doriva Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Téo Cardozo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Júlio de Azevedo having to make a save. In the 89th minute of the match, Válter Magalhães got a very nice opportunity to score, but Júlio de Azevedo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Júlio de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Brodel in the 90th minute of play. With a little luck, Cejam FC's Júlio de Azevedo got control of the ball when Válter Magalhães tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wiliam Prata's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Júlio de Azevedo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Júlio de Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Válter Magalhães in the 94th minute. Doriva Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
