Humberto Mendonça was left in no man's land by his defense there! Humberto Mendonça came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Avançados Fc's Bernardo Barros. But to his dismay, Bernardo Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Humberto Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Humberto Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Mendonça having to interfere. Bernardo Barros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Humberto Mendonça came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernardo Barros slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leopoldo do Valle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Duda Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Humberto Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Valdomiro Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Valdomiro Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Humberto Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Veloso in the 83rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdomiro Moraes in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 86 minutes into the game, Avançados Fc's Luisinho Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Humberto Mendonça made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Luisinho Montenegro hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute Luizinho Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duda Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Mendonça having to interfere. Humberto Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Avançados Fc were the better team. Avançados Fc's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
