José Vítor Cerezo's late challenge caught a Saracura TS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, ATREVIDOS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Vítor Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, ATREVIDOS F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Valério Matos came free, but Sidney Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cláudio de Amaral succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 10th playminute. 18 minutes into the game, Elder Ortiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saracura TS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATREVIDOS F.C the free kick. Elder Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Luís Fernando Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Giuseppe Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wilson Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valério Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wilson Varela scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sidney Guerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Giuseppe Prata didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. Luís Fernando Alagoano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Cláudio de Amaral fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 45 played minutes Saracura TS got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Meireles. Giuseppe Prata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cláudio de Amaral in the 46th minute. If Luís Fernando Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valério Matos to strike the kick off in the second half. Luís Fernando Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giuseppe Prata having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilson Varela got free with Sidney Guerra in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Vítor Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Saracura TS's Valério Matos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. The supporters of Saracura TS booed when ATREVIDOS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Vítor Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giuseppe Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74thth minute of the game Luís Fernando Alagoano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saracura TS's Giuseppe Prata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saracura TS's Giuseppe Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fernando Alagoano in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Wilson Varela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Sidney Guerra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rubinho de Salles hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Valério Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Saracura TS's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio de Amaral came free, but Giuseppe Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
