Amadeu Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráusio Travassos in the 10th minute of play. Raúl Valadares's late challenge caught a Demolidores FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raúl Valadares helped the player get up and apologised. 11 minutes into the game, one of Kurumba F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 13 minutes, Demolidores FC's Nildo Domingues got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rafa Catarinense. In the 15th match minute, Demolidores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Matos to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the game, Nildo Domingues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Demolidores FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kurumba F.C the free kick. If Thiago Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kurumba F.C's Rafa Catarinense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Kurumba F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute, Murillo Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurumba F.C's Acácio Bittencourt couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Demolidores FC. Murillo Lucas got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. If Dráusio Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Nelson Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeu Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Gaspar in the 48th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Célio Trigo to make the kick off. If Dráusio Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Amadeu Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeu Leal made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Nelson Figueiredo sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Kurumba F.C defense, Célio Trigo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafa Catarinense. The Kurumba F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafa Catarinense should have stopped the shot. Amadeu Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráusio Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Demolidores FC's goalkeeper Amadeu Leal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amadeu Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráusio Travassos in the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Demolidores FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nelson Figueiredo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
