Faustão Cavalcante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, ATREVIDOS F.C's Sidney Guerra got control of the ball when Horácio Proença tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 24 minutes, Horácio Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chambivas SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horácio Proença was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, ATREVIDOS F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Amorim came free, but Sidney Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chambivas SC's Horácio Proença got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horácio Proença could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Sidney Guerra made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Kaká Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chambivas SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaká Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidney Guerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, ATREVIDOS F.C's Eusébio Neiva got a free kick in the 41st minute. Horácio Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Guerra having to interfere. In the 50th minute, Horácio Proença got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Fernando Alagoano to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Chambivas SC's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio de Amaral came free, but Faustão Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cláudio de Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Faustão Cavalcante made a huge save. Sidney Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Amorim in the 79th minute of play. ATREVIDOS F.C's Sidney Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Proença in the 83rd minute of play. Eusébio Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Horácio Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Sidney Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Horácio Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ATREVIDOS F.C were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Chambivas SC's much stronger midfield.
