A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Kurumba F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fernando Alagoano came free, but Rafa Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Nelson Figueiredo could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Sidney Guerra however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 19 minutes, Dráusio Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kurumba F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráusio Travassos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ATREVIDOS F.C's Sidney Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráusio Travassos in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to ATREVIDOS F.C getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Eusébio Neiva hit a great ball. If Nelson Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráusio Travassos in the 31st minute of play forced ATREVIDOS F.C's goalkeeper Sidney Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Acácio Bittencourt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sidney Guerra skillfully saved the ball. If Nelson Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in ATREVIDOS F.C's zone, Dráusio Travassos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidney Guerra came out of the goal and Dráusio Travassos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luizão França hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando Alagoano in the 56th minute of play forced Kurumba F.C's goalkeeper Rafa Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafa Catarinense came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by ATREVIDOS F.C's Eusébio Neiva. But to his dismay, Eusébio Neiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cláudio de Amaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafa Catarinense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cláudio de Amaral ran back to his position shaking his head. Rafa Catarinense made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Cláudio de Amaral sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, ATREVIDOS F.C's Eusébio Neiva got a free kick in the 77th minute. Dráusio Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Sidney Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sidney Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráusio Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ATREVIDOS F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
