The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chicão Hermes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Cariry's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luís Dante came free, but Chicão Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdomiro Cearense to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Cariry's Marcelinho Sergipano made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Germano Mesquita was left in no man's land by his defense there! 55 minutes into the match, Chantre United's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Cearense came free, but Germano Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chicão Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís Dante in the 61st minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Cariry's goalkeeper Chicão Hermes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusébio de Andrade. Germano Mesquita came out of the goal and Marcelinho Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sílvio Luís Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Chicão Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cariry's Chicão Hermes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Cariry from getting a goal against them. Chantre United were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Cariry's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zé Augusto Tepedino took the corner. Chicão Hermes had great luck who in the 94thth minute grab hold of the ball when Sílvio Luís Dante from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Cariry were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chantre United for a fine match.
