After having played for 22 minutes, Rubens Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmeiras AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubens Proença was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ismael Tinoco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Arí Moreira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lucas de Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Ismael Tinoco fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Arí Moreira, passed just outside the right post.
