Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ossuna's Agnaldo de Souza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Rafinha Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Ossuna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafinha Nascimento couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Agnaldo de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ossuna's supporters rose to their feet, but Agnaldo de Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chicão Hermes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ossuna booed when Cariry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cariry's zone, Rafinha Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chicão Hermes came out of the goal and Rafinha Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agnaldo de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Chicão Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Agnaldo de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agnaldo de Souza took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chicão Hermes. Chicão Hermes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rafinha Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Chicão Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Ossuna got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo da Silva. 33 minutes into the match, Valdomiro Cearense dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luís Guilherme Paulista, 1-1. Ossuna's Agnaldo de Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agnaldo de Souza was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Ossuna's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Cariry booed when Ossuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafinha Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafinha Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão Hermes having to interfere. Chicão Hermes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafinha Nascimento in the 86th minute. Agnaldo de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rafinha Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ossuna's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
