Dorin Ailioaiei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Samuel Dantas made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Jacurutu's zone, Dorin Ailioaiei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Dantas came out of the goal and Dorin Ailioaiei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dorin Ailioaiei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Dantas having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dorin Ailioaiei to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorin Ailioaiei in the 52nd minute of play forced Jacurutu's goalkeeper Samuel Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Erasmo Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jacurutu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erasmo Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Álvaro Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Sandro Brasil could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Álvaro Nunes however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Jacurutu's zone, Dorin Ailioaiei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Dantas came out of the goal and Dorin Ailioaiei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Jacurutu players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Vaxco da Grana from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
